Purpose

This Treatment Standards Policy describes how 6 Day Weight Loss Medical evaluates patients and develops individualized, physician-supervised weight management plans. We are committed to responsible clinical practice that prioritizes patient safety and complies with applicable federal and California state laws.

Medical Evaluation Required

No Treatment Plan Without Evaluation

6 Day Weight Loss Medical does not begin a medical weight management program without a complete evaluation conducted by a licensed California provider.

No care plan is issued based solely on a patient's self-reported desire for treatment or based on a questionnaire without clinical review.

Every treatment decision is made by a licensed California physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant based on individual clinical assessment.

Care Standards

• Treatment plans are recommended only when clinically indicated based on thorough review of the patient's health history, current therapies, and clinical presentation
• Potential contraindications and interactions are evaluated before any care plan is recommended
• Patients receive clear information about the purpose, expected effects, potential side effects, and proper use of any recommended therapy
• Care is delivered in accordance with applicable clinical guidelines and licensed-provider judgment
• Ongoing monitoring is conducted to evaluate safety, tolerability, and progress

Brand Names Are Not Used in Advertising

6 Day Weight Loss Medical does not advertise specific prescription drug brand names in our marketing or on our public website. Educational content refers to categories of care and supervised medical weight management rather than specific brand names, in accordance with our advertising compliance standards.

Pharmacy Coordination

When a licensed provider determines that pharmacy coordination is clinically appropriate as part of an individualized plan, orders are sent to licensed pharmacies in accordance with California law. Patients may request that pharmacy orders be directed to a pharmacy of their choosing, subject to clinical appropriateness and applicable regulations.

In-Clinic Care

Medical evaluation, progress monitoring, and ongoing supervision are provided through in-clinic appointments with licensed California providers following a clinically appropriate evaluation. Your provider will advise you on follow-up timing and any additional services that require an in-person visit.

Patient Responsibilities

• Provide complete and accurate health history and current medication information at all times
• Inform your provider of any changes in health status, new medications, or adverse effects promptly
• Follow your care plan only as directed by your provider
• Do not share prescribed therapies with others
• Properly dispose of unused medications in accordance with applicable guidelines
